मैं सबसे जुदा सही मगर तबस्सुम से सरापा हूं,

मशग़ला नहीं इश्क़ अभी इब्तिदा-ए-'इश्क़ में हूं।

मुझे महसूस हुआ आबरू से अपने बज़्म में हूं,

मैं और गुलाब ही सही सबसे जुदा कीचड़ में हूं।
