Childhood friends~

It's important to have friends,

It's valuable to have a friend like you.

It's always nice to spend time with you,

It is enough to have a friend like you.

Many problems arises with too much pain,

Many ups and downs comes in my lane,

Many were there to be friends with me,

But i decided to go with you because you are always with me.

Many people can tie friendship band around your wrist,

But only few will pick up your call at when you need it.

A girlfriend can stab your heart,

But a true friend will last forever.

We played together,

We studied together,

We shared everything with each other,

We share every laugh and every tear,

We were there for each other and everywere.

When we first met we were just toddlers,

Now 16 years of friendship and we are still stronger.

Being with you made every path easier,

Trapezium lane becomes accessible.

Now that you are far away,

Just memories are what kept us connected.

I wish I could see you again,

As we were before together.

I always try my very best to keep the distance away,

But everytime I look at you I have no word to say.

You are most trustable and kind but I'm annoying to just like a sun ray,

Whenever you not there for me the skies are cloudy grey.

My only childhood friend who is now more than a brother and tomorrow is his birthday, so I have written a poem for him.
