क़रीब आए~

शहर-ए-ज़ुल्मत के सितारें नज़र में ख़ुद-ग़रज़ से क़रीब आए,
मुझसे मिलने फिदा तेरे पे हैं उधर जो एवज़ मेरे क़रीब आए।

मुफ़ाहमत से एहसास-ए-जुदाई का तीर जो हम चला आए,
मुज़्दा-ए-गुमरही-ए-शौक़-ए-सफ़र में हैं और क़रीब आए।

ज़िंदगी के सफ़र में कैसा है ये रिश्ता क़मर से हम पूछ आए,

ख़्वाबों के शहर में वो हाथ पकड़ हमारे और क़रीब आए।

ये बात तब की जब हम पहली दफा आपस में क़रीब आए,
आखों तक सफ़र ठीक था मगऱ रूह तलक क़रीब आए।

उनको भी मोहब्बत थी तो उसने नज़रे मिलाकर चुरा लाए,
मौसम-ए-कैफ़ में बे-ख़ौफ़ गुल-ए-तर देकर अदीब आए।

उनके पाज़ेब के ज़मज़मा से बे-पर शादमानी नसीब लाए,
एक शब हम भी इशारात-ए-नज़र में हो कर रक़ीब आए।
