नाम किया ~

 इश्क़-दर-इश्क़ मैंने उनका रवाँ से एहतिराम किया,
आखिर में इश्क़ ने उनके मकाँ में एहतिमाम किया।

अख़बार में खोजता रहा निशाँ किसने है ग़ुलाम किया,
इश्क़ की अदा से तमाम कहाँ सुब्ह-ओ-शाम किया।

न जाने वो किधर से आई जो हँस कर आँसू पी गए,
हमनें आने वाली मसर्रत को इकट्ठे अपने नाम किया।

उतर गई दिल में जो अब ग़मो का क़त्ल-ए-आम किया,
उसी ने हाथ रख दिल पे ज़िंदगी को क़ियाम किया।

यूं ही मिलते रहना जवाबन इश्क़ में सनम बन के मेरी,
उफ़ुक़ से रू-ब-रू हो कर देखो क्या कलाम किया।
