Sex education
Mumma,papa how was I born?
God/angel gifted us ,you. All of us had listened these answers from our parents, right?
Why are we so scared of talking about sex? What kind of twisted logic drives some of our parents, teachers, and education ministers to protect children from sex education, and perpetuate the vicious cycle of cultural taboo and dangerous misinformation?
Sex education does not teach children how to have sex at an early age. It teaches them about the physiological, social, and biological aspects of leading a healthy sexual life in the future. This encompasses not only the physical act of sex, but also – gender identity, physical changes, consent, awareness about sexual abuse, birth control measures, and prevention of AIDS and STDs.
Children are naturally curious about sex. Denying them the correct, scientific information leads them to seek knowledge from other sources, such as friends, movies, or the Internet.
Just without telling me think of first time you saw a porn. Definitely it will be between 14-16 right?
And after that it became our habit. But actually that curiosity of knowing more about sex leaded us to that. That curiosity didn't vanished and we started imagining something else. Rather than knowing about sex we came to know about so much different things.
Just remember your class 8th chapter in biology "The reproductive system", now just recall how it was taught to us? Teacher just came underlined important words and said do the question answer and chapter was done. Those excitement of studying that chapter was tried to kill in that class but truth was that increased exponentially. We started thinking that what's so in this chapter that teacher is skipping and that leaded us to some cheap materials to end our curiosity
Boys! Who are reading this just clearly ask yourself what do you know about periods and you will answer nothing.
Periods is the topic that should not only be taught to girls but boys too so that they can feel what a girl go through in that week with those blood sheds.
It's true we can't share pain but atleast emotional support.
