Book of all~

Give me all the books, the red ones, old or blue,
Cones, thin cones, “I didn’t know that” anew,
Tales out of this world, tear-jerking and sweet,
Neat, flat ones, car things, and romances discreet.

Bring me heartbreakers, and those that bring a smile,
Tales that are true, and crimes with a twist and style, Stories from history, dark gothic mysteries,
Science fiction or fact, Shakespeare’s timeless act.

Books with some galore, give me even more,
Bring them in trucks, I want them all to explore. Adventures and myths, fantasies that soar,
From ancient times to modern, let my mind implore.

Poetry that sings, prose that deeply stings,
Philosophies profound, the wisdom that it brings,
Comic strips with flair, dramas that ensnare,
Diaries of the lost, and memoirs laid bare.

Mysteries unsolved, puzzles to unwind,
Classics that endure, tales of every kind,
Epic sagas told, love stories so bold,
Horror that chills, and legends of old.

Give me books that teach, books that preach,
Every book within my reach,
From the light-hearted to the ones that beseech,
Let my collection never cease.

So line them up, shelf after shelf,
Each book a portal, each story itself,
In every page, my spirit finds flight,
In books, my soul ignites its light.
